The consortium formed by Minerva Consulting and Communication (BE), European Water Partnership (EWP), Europe for Business (EFB) and Menon Network is carrying on the STREAM project, Sustainable Technologies and Research for European Aquatic Management, funded by the European Commission under the FP7- Environment and supports the development and the adoption of water technologies.
 
The main objective of the STREAM project is to contribute to make the point on the state of the art of the research funded by the European Union to support the development of water technologies in order to face future challenges in the field of water issues. STREAM will raise awareness on the finding of research projects and address tailored information to specific categories of stakeholders such as researchers, policy makers, businessmen and industries, as well overall public and young people in particular. 
 
A first summer school, addressed to young researchers and SMEs water practitioners will be held in Barcelona between the 26th and 30th of September 2011.
 
During the intensive 5 days training, participants will have the possibility to meet and share experiences with high-level experts of water resource management, framework legislation, as well as technology and research innovation. Besides learning about the issue through lectures and from expert speakers, the summer school will also provide a practical hands-on approach in the hope of stimulating further innovation and cooperation among Researchers and SMEs. Who can apply and when
The school is addressed to young researchers from private/public research institutes and water experts from SMEs operating in the water technologies field.
