17th to 18th january 2012

The 2nd Stakeholder consultation meeting, held in Paris on 17-18 January, gathered more than 400 participants around a single slogan: Time for Solutions. Opened by the Minister of Ecology of France, Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet and closed by the Minister of Cooperation of France, Herve de Raincourt and the Mayor of Marseille, Jean-Claude Gaudin, the two-day workshop helped define 144 concrete targets, for which solutions will be proposed during the 6th World Water Forum in March 2012. It also enabled a first identification of stakeholders to be involved in the various preparatory processes. The closing session revealed the logo and the new website for the 6th World Water Forum – currently under construction - where you will find press releases, photos, presentations and outcomes of the meeting. Read speeches from Loïc Fauchon, WWC President, and Benedito Braga, President of the 6th Forum International Committee.
