During the 7th Anque International congress (13-16 June 2010) the Aquafit4Use Mid Term event was held in Oviedo, Spain. The event was very succesfull and most consortium partners were present.

During the Anque congress several plenary lectures were arranged. One of this lectures was on "The future of water European perspective" by mr Tom Vereijken. He is the chairman of the European Water Parnership (www.ewp.eu) and besides other roles he is also the President of the Brussel based think-tank "European Partners for the Environment".

During his lecture mr Tom Vereijken mentioned that, when Aquafit4Use started it was ahead of its time.
